The story

In 2016, three major players in Italian retail merged thus giving life to a large-scale distribution giant. The group has grown rapidly and today operates in Europe, North America, the Middle and Far East, in over 18 countries, with headquarters in Italy, a subsidiary in the United States and a network of agents operating in various countries in the Middle/Far East and Australia Competitive prices and great attention to quality are the cornerstone of their strategy and their success Choosing them as a partner means having access to the most large selection of authentic Italian products on the market They also have a network of more than 500 producers qualified according to the strictest rules and regulations in the preparation of products

The Challenge

At the time of the merger, these three large companies had different information systems which therefore needed harmonization in order to be able to provide users and consumers with uniform interfaces and tools. In addition to this, the group also required integration into a single software of the legacy systems in use, with particular attention to the processes of active invoicing and passive invoicing control Being an important Italian company for large-scale retail trade, it also required a centralized order management system for internal users, for customers and suppliers of the entire Italian distribution network
